Georgian-American School of Batumi

Grades I-XII across primary, basic and secondary levels: the Georgian-American model of education in Adjara.

Entrance of the Georgian-American School of Batumi

In 2018 WT Group and its partners founded the Georgian-American School of Batumi, the group’s first school.

The story began in August 2017, when WT Group acquired the former Shahin school-lyceum building in Batumi. After studying the private-school segment in the Adjara region, the company decided to establish a modern school in the city. It opened on 1 October 2018.

Today the school covers grades I to XII across primary, basic and secondary levels. Its long-term development plan builds on international experience and Georgian educational principles.

The campus and its recreation areas cover 13,000 m². The infrastructure includes:

  • Modern computer and science laboratories
